" There are friends and faces that may be forgotten,
but there are horses that never will be."
-Andy Adams

The Grand Oaks Resort's large stable of resident equines represents many different breeds from around the world. From Great Britain a high-stepping Hackney; A Friesian from the Netherlands; a colorful Gypsy Vanner with bloodlines from the UK; a Peruvian Paso; Dutch Harness Horses; several American Quarter Horses, Paints, Morgans and Standardbreds and everyone's favorite, Nicholette, a rare Poitou Donkey from France.

Grand Oaks' horses make up a family of well-trained individuals in both harness and under saddle.
